What started as seven close friends in room “742” at Westwood College in 2001 with original germ of an idea for a graphic design company that would flood the market place with clothing and signage, 742 Marketing formally known as “sevenfourty2” has become a unique lifestyle brand that wasn’t seen on the U.S. market. With a distinct vision, and armed with knowledge of a hobby that became a passion. What started as 7 designers later dropped to 4because of the different views and styles and at graduation only 2remained together Mike G. & Jeff Maldonado, the last of the seven. Not too long after, the brotherhood that held these 2 together slowly disappeared and Jeff Maldonado the last one standing, took to the market place and has created a brand that is synonymous, with not only brand loyalty but allowing his vision to bring new brands to the market place as well. Armed with his determination and the need to make a name for himself, he began to get small successes and became the face of brand that is now, a decade later, taking its rightful place in the automotive equipment industry.
